i decided to renovate my appt myself. Just when i was about to do so a wise man told me… it always takes twice the time and costs twice as much. And a month away from when i moved in and started working on the property, with the wooden floorings done and just one bedroom wall painted.

I looked around the house and realised he sure was right.

Not that i doubted him in any way, and the fact is that i have lot of work left. It could easily take me a month more. What is important is the fact that i am enjoying it, it feels satisfying that the changed have made the house look good and the fact that i have done it (with my wife ofcourse) makes the result more fulfilling.
