New Zealand Politics September 10, 2005

the elections on the way, infact next way and a decisson needs to be made on who to vote, not that any of the parties are any good.

National the conservative, brings with it some much cheered tax cut, this sure is going to increase the money i get at the end of the day, probably make business more competitive, its a win win for high income earners as any tax relief is always a plus.
Labour brings with it interest free students loan, im not a a student and i certainly dont want my money to be wasted on the students spendings, more money on a better health care system doesnt matter again, ive never used the health care much and the subsidery doesnt extend to all the population anyways. Imigration friendly policy is a definite plus, with the current scenerio there are more people going away from nz than coming to nz, nz is a shrinking population, we need to fill the gap by inviting skilled people to migrate to nz.

dont care about the maori seats for an issue, yes the enegy cricis is an issue but both have equally constructive policies on them. From what i see I am pretty much fixed on National for now, accept for the current “Palmplet distribution scandal” that makes me think they are with some kind of coloboration with business groups and vested interests in nz and might make some polices pro business and less people oriented….
